AC causes rough idle

Any help would be great!!

i have a 2001 3.oooOOo. At a stop, while the AC is on. Car seems to go into this rough idle mode. If I turn the AC off and wait awhile the rough idling goes away.

I'm pretty savvy with a wrench... so I can do my own work. If someone could lead me in the right direction that would be wonderful.

Seems like you IDLE REGULATING VALVE is dirty or faulty.Try cleaning it first with some brake cleaner ,otherwise you have to get a new one!
Do a Diagnostic test also.:)
