P1682 Charging System Voltage Too Low

what is the meaning of charging system voltage too low?

Not sure what the fault code traces to specifically, but the low voltage/charging system fault could be the battery or alternator. When I got the fault, along with a tranny limp mode warning, it was the battery. Good luck.
