Thankx (HPIA4v2) appreciate your comments! However those little hoses that you mentioned were recently replaced on mine, and this isn't resolve my problem still because as you know: there's too many locations where vacuum leaks may occur. And I've also advised by other folks in the forum to perform a smoke test through the entire intake system to check for leaks. This is the last test that I'm at the process of doing from a shop.
And it could be a defective mass airflow sensor, but I just can't wait for the test to perform so I can see where this ignoring vacuum leak was coming from about a year now. So, I can start ordering parts to work on my car. Otherwise my X5 4.4i is running great. |
