Check side lights
Morning,
I had a service light pop up this morning, check side lights. I tried the search portion, but, it keeps telling me it is unavailable. Any thoughts. |
maybe your angel eyes? Did you upgrade? If so, you may need a resistor or learn to live with the message.
Check your angel eyes to see if they are working. |
I checked my AE's, they are working. I am going to turn on all the lights while the car is in my garage, see if maybe one of my side markers is out....
I will post back if I find something or nothing... Thanks for the help. |
I think it may mean your side turn signal markers. Located on your front quarter panels. See if those are working when you put on you turn signals.
|
It means the front coner bulb blown. Turn the light knob to position I, check and replace.
|
I checked the side markers as well as side lites with lights in position 1. They are all working fine. My AE's are working correctly also.... :dunno:
|
Have you installed any new LED lights for your turn signals, front back and side?
|
Big J, I am also a Hollander! I installed (4 months ago) a replacement lamps for my AE's, that is all. I am not sure if it is a faulty fault light, if that makes sense??? :dunno:
|
If it were me, I'd get some new side marker bulbs and replace those to see if the problem persists.
This may be out in left field but, check the voltage coming off your battery. It should be at least 13.2 volts with the truck running. Low battery has been known to cause electrical gremlins. My family is from Germany but, I can sympathize with Queen Juliana! |
Thanks J, I will check it. I have run the battery down and had to be jumped twice last month, that might be the problem. Its the original battery.
Thanks again. |
