Articulation-Plausibility E53 X5 4.8is (Air suspension)
 

Hi All

My friend have E53 4.8is .

The problem go down in front left side and i checked it by daignostic tool and i got this massage ( [100] 64 Articulation-Plausibility )
when i deleted it is go up for one day only after that go dwon again

lots of threads on this. try the search button on the top menu screen. Its been discussed. You need to replace a component of the air suspension. Its a huge pain in the ass--and very common problem!

As Naz24 said, its a common problem on 4.8's. Air bag on strut assembly develops slow leaks. Can't be repaired / need to purchase / install new strut assembly. Not sure what BMW charges for this part in UK. I ended up buying rebuilts from Arnott Industries in Florida - much lower cost that BMW parts.

or change air tank only like a pic

spray soapy water on the strut that keeps going down. if it bubbles then that needs to be replaced.
