2001 X5 3.0 Bowler Motor constanting running
 

Hello ALl,

My 2001 BMW X5 3.0 Blower Motor constanting running after the car is turn off and bowler motor fuses are fine. Can someone please tell me what wrong and resolve the problem. I don't if the blower has relay and if they do please tell me where is located and parts number.

Agree with it likely being the Final Stage Resistor.

yup final stage resistor....had the same problem that was causing my battery to die...bought the upgraded part on ebay for like 50 bucks

Thanks you for much. I finally get my final stage resister and replace the old one. Start the car and test, everything is working back to normal. It cost me $40 from ebay and take me about over one hours to replace the FSR.
