When you get the tools just follow the steps religiously and you will find it an easy job.

Here is a trick for the chain tensioner if you don't have the 6" pound torque wrench. I couldn't find one locally.

I am wondering,if that failure is oil related or it's just something that happens.

Broken chain guides seem to be common problem on high milage m62tu engines. The plastic on these guides fails due to heat and age.
