fitting new PDC sensor. do i need to reset anything?

i am going to fit a new pdc sensor on the left outer one on the front bumper.
i have had a diagnostics check which came back as this one. i sort of knew this as my mrs had a scuff in it and the pdc stopped working immediately.
also , if i undo a few bolts, will i be able to get my smallish hand in to disconnect& remove the pdc sensor, or does the whole bumper need to come off?
do i need to reset anything or will it work straight away?
its a 2001 4.4 x5
thanks

Just changed mine yesterday . Not only did I get one from a landrover discovery , New off Ebay $30 , but it was plug and play . Worked immediately . Rear corner 2006 x5 Discovery 3 / Range Rover Sport Parking Sensor on eBay (end time 16-Mar-11 16:58:18 GMT)
