BMW X5 SAT NAV PROBLEM
 

hi guys.
i have a 2002 x5. when i bought the car it never came with the sat nav disc.
i rang bmw up and they asking £100+vat for it and not telling me the part number.i`ve looked on ebay and its too complicated.
if someone could help me on what disc i need it would be much appriciated.

first you will need to find out if you have a cd sat nav or a mark 4 DVD nav.

on the front it states GPS navigation system.
the model number is:
PHILIPS 22SY591/23E

have a look at this thread you should be able to workout which one you have, I think you have a mk3 which is cd based not the later mk4 which is DVD based.

:iagree:I bought him the same DVD and CD, except a mistake of CD language (sent me a UK version instead of FR) this is perferct..he sent me a new CD FR and now everything is ok.
