Hi all bought myself the oem wiring kit works fine but should it tell you anywhere on the dash or beep when the turn signals are on thanks all

If I understand your question, the blinker flashers on the dash and the audible tone should operate the same with the trailer as they do without the trailer.

Agreed. And to take that one step further, there is not a separate indication that you have a trailer connected. You need to use your review mirror for that.

Edit: Thinking about it, is there some type of requirement in the UK that there be a separate indication on the dash that the trailer wiring is connected? Just wondering if that is what you are asking. There is no such requirement in North America.

Interesting. That would make sense. Too bad we don't get that requirement here. In my case my Prodigy brake controller gives me a digital indication that the trailer's connected, and I do keep an eye on it when towing any distance. I even occasionally turn on the parking lights and look to see if the trailer's clearance lights come on. Guess I'm paranoid that I'd loose brake lights in traffic.

Hey thanks for the info I was just hoping that I might have some beeping when idicating or a logo/ light on the dash when I'm towing

Last vacations - with trailer - a bulb on the trailer went off. Immediately I got a message from the X. Do not really remember but I believe she said something like check trailer .... ?? Don't remember.
