Only 2.5 volts at parking lights

I have quite dull parking lights (front) and finally figured out why when checking them with a DMM yesterday. They are only getting 2.5 volts each. Is there a module (or diagram even) I can check? Has anyone ever had this issue?

Normal: Low AC voltage for parking lights. 12V for turn/brake lights. This is how BMW designed the system to work using a single filament bulb to provide both lighting features. I put an oscilloscope on my parking lights once and was surprised to see the higher frequency spiked waveform the LKM was outputing.

Thank you. I see most people's parking lights look a lot brighter than mine so I was curious. They are REALLY dull.

Hmmmmm, I do seem to remember that the scope read 4.5V when I tested so maybe you are a little low. I don't have the wiring manual handy but you may want to try the fuse/s and see what voltage you get there.

I guess I'm going to have to deal with it because nobody really has any input on the situation on what is should be. I'd like to know the proper voltage using the proper bulb and try to match it.
