I don't know if you have read my latest post on this topic or are implying that I did not fully read the suggested articles. With respect to the Homelink Transmitter, I only know one definition for the word "cycle." :thumbup:

I was just reiterating the most important part of the process for "rolling code" programming, that seems to be the real hang-up for us all. It is not included in the usual instructions (hence, the article I wrote).

As I said before, my strongest suggestion is to try to gain access to the receiver for 5 minutes. Perhaps a little gift to the maintenance guys in the spirit of the holidays? :thumbup: I agree with you that it would be a real shame to have to carry a transmitter with you, when one is already built into the BMW.
