Please recommend a good BMW mechanic in NYC...
 

I have a couple of minor issues on my X5 which I would like to have someone fix asap. Are you or know of any respected BMW mechanic in the NYC area that you guys trust with good pricing?

- Brake light is on - A repair shop changed my rear brakes recently and seems the brake sensor got lose (it comes on and off once in a while).

- Service Engine Soon light in on - my E53 just hit 60,000 miles last week... I guess I need someone to service the engine and figure out why this came up?

- Moonroof - I recently posted about this; basically the rear of my moonroof wouldn't close. I had to manually close it for now. It seems it slightly came off the track from the right side.

If you or anyone you know can take care of these, please let me know.

There's a shop in the bronx that serviced by 05 3.0 for everything, from oil changes to a tune up, they did my brakes. Now they started w/ my E70 4.8. They only get oem parts. let me know if you would like their contact info.

They take care of everything for me, the prices i've gotten are decent.

If not, my brother works in NAPA autoparts, i think he met a guy that works in the 58th st bmw dealer that does side work in a auto repair shop in the bronx.

Skorpiond what happened that you were unsatisfied with their work and has you looking elsewhere for service?

They had done some work to my previous BMWs before and never had any issues. I hadn't gone there for the past 3 years and just went to them this week, but they didn't have time as they were too busy. They asked me to go back this weekend. I was just asking for recommendations in case I can't take it to them.
