I had it from either the E46 or the Bimmerfest forums from some years ago and recently was just using it as I was looking to get another/second X5, but this time with 5 or 6 sp. ..... n'way :):popcorn:


Any one know some another BMW VIN decoder ? - that actualy can show up the options that was ordered on the car ! - [ like the MB Vin decoder ....]

Does the VIN contain the destination market where the car will be sold?
We have many US cars here in Canada, many of them with questionnable history. Is there a way to identify a US BMW car from the vin since the cluster is often changed in the process of making the car legal for the metric system?
