Winter Scars
This winter was not a good one for my lil'sav. She suffered from an idiot breaking my window to steal her friend TomTom, a few other nick knacks here and there. Here are a few pictures. Glad to say she made it through the storm:
Sway links, Tie Rods, Lower Control Arms: http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/m...1301257643.jpg New ones installed: http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/m...1301257665.jpg Hit during an icy/snow day drive (have not repaired): http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/m...1301257639.jpg NYC street parking wars (have not repaired rear bumper): http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/m...1301257565.jpg http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/m...1301257666.jpg http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/m...1301257706.jpg Sanitation truck spreading sand and salt during blizzard and a huge piece of salt chipped my paint on right qt panel (have not repaired): http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/m...1301257535.jpg She was great this winter and once the weather warms up I have a big surprise for her. I will be repairing all her nick knacks, installing HID fogs and pampering her with a full in/out detail and powder coating her '87s. She's no garage queen, but deserves her own parking spot and thats what she has now that I moved. I'm sure she's going to appreciate it and reciprocate her appreciation by continuing to go strong. What are your winter scars?? |
Exactly why I don't ever drive/park in the city. At the train station (metro north) I park in the back of the lot to avoid these.
