Angel Eyes
Hello Everyone.
I have a 2004 BMW E53, 4.8is As I turned off my car, I got the message " check side light". After a quick walk around, I noticed that the passenger side Angel eyes were the culprit. I was thinking about doing the fix myself, since I hate the local BMW dealership. I first wanted to know if it is an easy fix, and secondly, what are you guys thinking about the different angel eyes upgrade that are out there, since I'm gonna have to fix it anyway, I was thinking about just throwing those ultra white angel eyes on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. K. |
blackbird, nice to see a member that's right across the golden gate bridge from me. as far as the difficulty of changing the angel eye bulbs, it's really easy. there is a access cover that's sits on the back of the headlight assembly (it's rectangular /oval in shape) that needs to come off. once removed, the angel eye bulb socket sits in plain sight. your options for replacement range from the cheap ebay versions that can't be seen during the day to the angelibright led's that are brightest and most esxpensive ($300). check around because there are certainly others i don't know about.
