I garaged my X for a month and did not diconnect the battery. I was uneasy when I first started the X but when I did it started immidiately. No warning lights.... But 3 months is longer

CTEK charger is a good solution. My 2nd car is connected to one since nearly 1 year. Starts immediately.

Thanks for all the replies. I'll research the CTEK battery tender for next time, sounds like a good idea. Right now I'm just going to disconnect the negative terminal and leave the tailgate open. Car will be safely garaged anyway.

Clockwork,

I've taken your advice and just ordered a CTEK Battery Tender.

Thanks for all your replies.

Don't forget the oil, and good luck with where and what you are doing!!

I don't think you need to worry too much about the lights if the battery is disconnected ;)
