P/N

I have an 01 X5 3.0 with fuel gauge problem. The needle is always at full position. I am thinking do it myself after reading so many links in this site. However, I could not find P/N for the sensors. I checked realoem site and they only show the left sending unit. I did google and found the same issue. No right sending unit. I know some of you did DIY on this same issue. If you have P/N on these sensors, may I have it? Thanks a lot

Just like killcrap said. Picture below, you want item #1.

I don't know if that is for your correct month of production (I used 2001/01) or geography, since you don't say in your profile (I guessed US)

Thanks JCL
I have another question for you if you don't mind. Is there left delivery unit? If I can access to the delivery unit, I want to change them both. I know there are two sensors but unsure about how many delivery unit. Thanks

The left unit is item 3 in the picture. It is a level sensor, which works in combination with item 1. There is not a pump on the left side.

so it is a good idea to change delivery unit on the wright and the sensor level on the left, right?
Really appreciate someone with professional experiences in this site like you, JCL. Thanks

IMO the problem could be in the sender units or in the gauge cluster that interprets the signal from the sender units.. There is a diagnostic procedure to check the cluster but I don't know the details of it. A BMW technician would.

If you don't get it diagnosed properly you risk spending money that you don't need to in replacing components unnecessarily.
