CV Boot Repair
 

Just had my CV boots replaced by Bimmer Mobile Specialist in Dallas. This is a mobile mechanic shop that comes to you house or office for repairs. Replacing the boots was $290 per side. That is about half the dealer quote and 1/3 of a quote I got from Import Car Center in Grapevine.

Service was quick and efficient. I would recommend.

I guess he didn't know the half hour method for doing these !

I also had mine done here in Chicago for $290/side... Fluid Motor Union...
Now I do a lot of DIY...
Installed SC on my e36 M3
I did brakes
I Change out Intake Manifolds
I change cooling systems..radiator/thermostats/coolants/water pumps...
I change exhaust, cats, alternators...etc etc...

But I cant seem to DIY anything that would require me to be under a car while its on stands .. (ramps are different)....or anything that will require a sledge hammer...
