That is different kind of chrome . I don't like factory chrome wheels that all.

It looks kind of odd, may be it will look better if you drop it.

I've looked into lowering it, and I'd love to but the roads around here in the city aren't forgiving enough. I've had other lowered cars before and I know they're just not built for pothole heaven. Even riding on these 20" tires is hard enough, though I think the Diamaris are wearing out and maybe my next set of tires will have a softer sidewall.

Down side to 17,s to gain more side wall lol

I don't agree with those that think it needs a drop. Your X looks fine, wheels too.

BTW, I'm not a camera specialist, but judging from the clarity of the photos I'd guess they were taken with an HTC Droid Incredible and then enhanced with Photoshop or something. :)

It's not chrome. It's full polish, maybe with clear-coat. Typical HRE finish.

Talk to a few members who have done the angel eyes mod it will definitely go well with the silver ...
