Exhaust camshaft position sensor - how do I get the connector off? Help!

I am trying to get the connector off the exhaust camshaft position sensor, but it will not budge. I don't want to break the connector. What is the trick to get it off?

Just squeeze the metal release tab flush, wiggle and pull. Usually comes right off.
