Which Car Cover

All,

Need some help in deciding which Car cover to go for, I moved to a new place and there is no Garage here so the X is out in the open, Need to get a car cover to protect it from Rain, since it will be parked for extended amounts of time.

I saw one at the delearship, what do you guys suggest, which cover is the best for protection against rain and sun (any actual experience will be helpfull)
thanks.

carcoverworld.com has lots of good choices. I rent a single 10x20 garage at a local storage facility for $125/mo for my extra vehicle.

Geezer buds of mine that use them are torn between Covercraft, using Noah material:
Noah Car Covers - Covercraft Noah Outdoor All-Weather Car Cover Styles for Trucks and SUVs

And, Stormproof:
Coverking Stormproof Car Cover

No personal experience with either one.

Honestly I wouldn't use a car cover if it is parked outside.

Dirt and grit will get in between the cover and the paint and the wind and rain will cause this to abrade the paint surface.

You're better off leaving it in the open with a good wax job and UV protecting exterior products and window tint

Thanks nom3rcy - I guess I might drop the idea of a car cover and maybe look into a prefab garage, do you think 10x20 is good enough or 12x20 is required.

Thanks all for your help.

If you have the space I'm sure you'll enjoy more elbow room.

Glad to hear the X is getting a cozy home :)
