Driver Door Handle Failure

There are several articles posted in the forum and elsewhere regarding how to repair the driver's door handle when it fails. I recently did this, and took a photo of the failed part, so you can see what happens. The cast metal mechanism has a weak point there it is hinged. As you can see in the photo, it cracks and breaks near the pivot point. Just thought I'd add this photo to the info about fixing your door handle. The repair is somewhat frustrating as getting all the parts aligned and reassembled is challenging. Mine's working again, thankfully! Thanks to all the contributors!
