Panoramic = no holder

If you have the pano sunroof...I figured that the interior motion sensor (UIS) was located there since that area pictured in the post above didn't appear to open up and there's no solid roof panel to hide the interior motion sensor in the middle of the roof due to all of the glass.
As you can see in the diagram below...the UIS (ultrasonic interior-motion sensor) is located in the center of the vehicle when you have the regular sunroof. The X5s with the pano sunroof moves the UIS to the area up near the sunroof access panel (sunglass holder) area: http://www.bimmerboard.com/members/q...0Locations.jpg |
Thanks All. I have been putting the ear-ends of my glasses into the center vents for years. I guess I'll continue that practice. Thanks again.

Stop feeding the rugrats cheetos. If not, just stick the CEO in the back to monitor them. Problem solved ;)

If you have the Nav unit couldn't you tap into were the backup camera would go and install a camera?

You can get one of these instead to replace the driver headliner grab handle

That's interesting, but I sometimes use the driver side handle to hang my arm from when on a long trip.
