My Hazard/Flashers Button is stuck
 

Any ideas on how to fix it.

welcome to the forum mac. I'd suggest you pop it out and see if you can free it up yourself. failing that, just simply replace it as its probably busted. it'll be a plug and play so no wiring issues to worry about.

Usually when they stick it is actually from soda spilled in it. What has worked the best in that case is to remove the switch, carefully take it apart and clean it with hot water. After dried and reinstalled it works normally again.

sigh... yeah i remeber i was driving and when i came to a stop i noticed that my soda was tilted just pouring into the button!!!! i dont think i have enough soda in there yet b4 it gets sticky *cross fingers*

It actually isn't very hard to take the switch apart, and hot water dissolves the sticky mess away very well.... better than any cleaner/solvent ever will.

I was going to put in the fact that its probably (what you guys call) 'soda', but us Brits call it 'coke'. I know it may sound daft to you but any soft drink is 'coke' here!

The reason I didn't is because I didn't want anyone thinking I thought this guy had some 'alternative' habit going on... :rofl:

Though having said that I'm probably gonna get flamed with 'why didn't you just say 'soda' then? hahahaa :nanana:

Coke is the general term down here as well, just a good case of brand recognition really. I've heard people from further up north in the US call it soda or pop... I didn't know what y'all called it over there.
