my car is 04 and the kit came directly from the local agent here(based on the serial number of the car)and everything ran smoothly during installation!!??

anyone with a DIY for the washing system!to check things one more time!!

I have been trying to find someone who has done this retro-fit but no one has come forward yet.
Did you have the dealer fit the wash kit.
Did you get any advise about the recode before you installed it,I was hopeing that it was not needed but because it interacts with other components it seems that it will have to be done to make this feature operate properly.

well i and a friend installed the kit,and nothing about a recode has been said even though i called the local agency here and they told me that it should work,and in case this recode is needed can it be done with a multiscan or it needs the gt1???

I am sorry, but I dont know anything about recoding, but I can understand the fact that the car needs to know what features it has installed so as to operate all the complex systems without conflicts !!!!!!!!!!.
Please keep me informed of your progress in resolving this.
I am going to call my local dealer and ask about recoding and what it involves and how much.

wow you actually retrofitted the headwasher kit? didnt you have to cut holes in the bumper??...man come to my garage and help me retrofit it

The kit looks very easy to do from a mechanical point of view.It just involves replacing the wash tank and running a few pipes up front through the bumper as yes you have to cut 4 holes in the bumper,but the instructions explain that the locations are clearly marked and not a big deal.
The only questionable issue is the electrical one, the included instuctions explain about the recode that will need to be done to activate this feature, but I wish there was someone who has actually done this project sucessfully,I am a bit chicken to be the trailblazer on this, but to be truthfull it is a true OEM retro fit kit so there really should be no issues.

well....i just ordered my headwasher kit from Crevier, the washer pieces don't come painted so after i have them painted i'll build up the courage to try and install it..if not installed for me, lol
