LED Taillights
 

Hey Fellas. I want to replace my original tail lights with LED's. Got any type of brand recommendation? I prefer black housing since my X5 is black. Thank you!:dunno:

You still get a ticket...One member on here got the ticket with these all clear/smoke tail lights.

Why can't some company invent true Celis powered lights for the E53 :(

Hella even gave the Ford Pick-em-up truck a celis light.

How come a ticket? Because there's no red in the assembly aside from the bulbs themselves? Is that a necessity in all states?

if u live in a hick town and your brother is a judge i dont think its worth it...i live in Hawaii and cops here will pull u over and will give u a ticket in a heart beat even if your aftermarket headlights are too bright. Its up to u whether its worth the trouble.

i took all the badges off.. bought some 22" rims with low profile pirellie tires and removed roof rails for a slick look and all together SAV looks so plain it stands out....

Update on my tail ticket: My brother knows a Sheriff and signed off on the ticket. However, my brother lost the original ticket before he could send it to me! So now, I'm stuck on gettin it replaced with a little darker red with smoked signal lens.

Do the aftermarket tail lights fit correctly?
