X5 4.4i e53 sport poor suspension
 

ride in X5 very rough feel every little bump. I can not even push suspension down either back or front. As far as i know i do not have the facility to lower or raise by buttons on dash. No very little how suspension on my 2003 model works. Do i need to take it to the dealers? please help

This may or may not help, but the ride on my '01 Sport was transformed when I changed the tyres from Nankangs on the back and mismatched Bridgestones on the front to Michelins all round. Much smoother & quieter.

Not particularly surprised you can't push the suspension down though. Your car weighs well over two tonnes. You probably don't :)

these trucks ride rough with sport suspension. if it was soft, supple suspension that you were after, you choose the wrong vehicle.

there's a good chance that your front suspension is wore out as well. Find and indy and have them check your linkages and control arms. However, your sport suspension is designed for more of a stiff ride.

:iagree: It's the nature of the beast. I don't have sport suspension and it rides rough.

:iagree: Regular suspension and with 20" wheels on it rides like a wagon.
