I need an oil change and i still have 3 green lights, will the dealer reset the lights?

But other than that, i have no problems, absolutely runs wonderful, no problems at all (knock on wood)
Ignore the TPS :P

Congrats on the 80K :) I'm at 65k km on mine!
About the oil change.. I'm sure if it's not under warranty you can get the oil changed whenever. You can reset the lights by yourself if you do a search on this site.

Would anyone like to direct to a DIY ro rest the oil change lights?
Also, bmw says the oil they use last for 25k kms, where can i optain this oil? or can i just use some regular full synthetic?

You can ask your dealer to reset the lights when they do an oil service, or leave them. Your call. They would typically reset them.

Easy to reset them yourself. Here is the DIY posted on this site:

You require a full synthetic 5W-30 oil. Highly recommend you look for an API SM rating, which is better than the oil called for in your owner's manual (newer standard). That was probably an API SJ, not sure for your model year.

Castrol and Mobil 1 are both good. I typically purchased the BMW oil from my dealer because it was the same price as Castrol at my local auto parts store. That also gave me a chance to purchase an OE filter, also highly recommended.

KM to change depends on how you drive it. With my E53 I usually changed it based on time before it got to 25,000 km, but that is pretty much what the onboard system will call for with typical driving. I figured two years was long enough, so changed it anywhere from 16,000 to 20,000 km.
