Is it worth to get the stage 2 kit over the stage 1 ?? ( For the intake pipe,is it better flow and design compare to the OEM one ? )
Love " RED " 4.8IS.... |
hi Bud id get the stage 2 kit if you can, your only going to buy the kit once so I reckon its worth buying the stage 2. I think the AFE would give you better air flow, I'm also apeaking to my friend to see if they can machine out the throttle body for increased flow
|
i was pretty much set on the stg.2 kit also but just woundering if the intake pipe from AFE has a better flow and design than the stock one.

I have a stage 2 for my 4.4, 2002...i never bothered to use the elbow that was supplied....missing a nipple for another vac line....figured how much much more flow would i really get out of it...to me didn't seem like worth the hassle....

Is there any way you could post some more detailed pics of the engine cover? I want to work mine over, but not sure how.
Also, to get back on topic, what exactly is the difference in the AFE Stage 1 Vs. Stage 2, other than double the price? I can't find any real explanation on the vendor sites. THX! |
Beautiful car, flawness.
