Hey guys. Just curious if anyone would know about problems with the X5 alarm going off during the day or night when it is armed. Please advice...

Check the hood pin....was a common issue back in the day..............Phil

Thanks Phil. I'll check it out today. Just curious, where is the hood pin located so I don't have to take the hood apart, lol!

Up on the windshield cowl behind the windshield washer bottle. Disconnected mine on my 4.6 last year, there is a new redesigned switch if you want it, but most people just disconnect it.

P.S. Mamba as long as you've been around I'm surprised you didn't know about this...lol!
