After test driving the car it seems to be in perfect exterior condition and as far as mechanical is concerned, test drove it for about 25 mins and it seems to be driving as good as my previous X was, they gave it a detail a while back so under the hood everything seems in tact and on the lift it all seems good, after I lost my X5 last year I always thought id end up in a 03 or something but here's my chance at an 01 for a decent price, what would you guys do?

As others have said it depends on a lot of information we don't have. Price being the primary one. What do you mean by "fully loaded"?
If you're just asking about buying a high mileage X5 I can say that I have a 2001 4.4i with ~ 121K and it's running like a champ. I have no concern about it at this time. Bought it with 108K miles about 16 months ago, did some repair and preventative maintenance and it's been solid. |
