MAP COOLING CODE

Hi All,

My engine light came on the other night and so I have just had the codes read today and it came back with 'MAP Cooling'... Is this the thermostat that is housed in the waterpump?

I have the same code - what is the thermostat controlling and what happens if you dont change it? Is it an expensive fix?
