Hi. Have u tried pressing the Bluetooth button on the centre arm rest when vehicle is off. Then turn the key 1 or 2 clicks. This will turn the car into Discovery mode.

Hi, My X5 3.0 2006 does not have a Bluetooth button on the center arm rest, how can I turn the car into discovery mode. thanks

Bluetooth Pairing
I'll try and explain - but you may need to speak to the dealer.
1. Key in ignition but not turned 2. Open the leater top lid of the center arm rest (where there is room for a handset) 3. There is a button at the front 4. Press this button (hold it down) 5. Flick the key once so everything starts (apart from the car) 6. Release the button and the screen should say "PAIRING MODE" 7. This is now in pairing mode Once paired - turn the car off (key out of ignition) and turn it back on - this should work now. |
Sorry, but are you sure this button in x5 2006 3.0i

If not, then there may be another way. I have an E53 4.4i (2005). Thanks. |

No idea then - sorry. Try calling your local dealer - they may help you.

Bluetooth
Having the same problem getting my Verizon phone paired. The pairing button appears to be on the steering wheel in my '04 X5. There is none in the center console. I have the four digit code, but that doesn't work either. Not sure what to do next. Hate the idea of going to the dealer.

Pull the fuse for the telematics unit for a minute and then replug it. Sometimes does the trick.
