Dealer Carwash

I waxed my car last night, went in for an oil change today and specifically asked them not to wash my car. I hate auto carwashes, especially with my rims and spacers on. guess what..?

my rims have never seen an automatic car wash, thank god they didnt scratch.

No surprise, they never listen. Let me guess, Open Road? My friend bought an X5M there, it took them over a month to give him his trunk shade and owner's manual.

If i ever take it to the dealer, i'd first get a nice sheet of paper and write "DO NOT WASH" and put it over the radio.

At least they didn't "detail" it for you.

Maybe that will get the message through.

:iagree: I don't mind them washing it although it doesn't really help but what I hate is that the braindead lot lizzards dump a bunch of brake dust dissolver on the wheels that totally destroys any wax cover you might have had on there.....

I make sure too that they don't wash my car. They stamp it all over the writeup sheet. but guess what? they sometimes forget. Luckily my tech ran over and stop it before it was put through the carwash!

Morristown BMW. It's been there plenty times and it's never been a problem. Guess they had miscommunication this time.

Did I mention they didn't reset the oil service interval, and when I asked them to, they changed that and messed up my temp settings to Celsius. Luckily I popped open Xoutpost and showed the tech how to fix it--bc he "forgot"
