Connecting an amp
 

I have a 2003 X5 and I don't have an amp in my car. I wired up a amp and speaker box,but when I switch the car off and back again the MID does not work, it switches on but no sound. When I remove the speaker inputs from the amp the radio starts working. Does anyone know what the problem is?
