Changing cassette player to CD player

Hi,

I have a x5 2003 with a MID radio and a cassette player on top. Can I replace the cassette player with a BMW X5 CD player if I buy one from EBAY?

You would've thought by 2003 cassette players in cars would be extinct...lol!! But to answer your question, yes it should be plug and play, take out the old one, plug in the new one.

I would just buy the changer and plug it in the back. I did just that with my 03. Easy and cheap and quick
