2006 X5 Stratus Grey Metallic
 

Hi all! Just pulled the trigger on my first X! Not new to beemers, my last was an 02 7. This X has everything I wanted and some. My question concerns the nav unit. It works fine but appears to be dim and hard to see from the drivers seat. I have the brightness turned all the way up but the overall pic is dim. Looking at the angle of the unit it appears to be tilted upward towards the dash. Any thoughts or input would be appreciated!:dunno:

have you tried the dimmer on the left side of the vehicle. That also controls your brightness of the nav while it controls the vehicle interior light brightness.
