Diganosis help with noise needed...
 

So the last few days the wife said she keeps hearing a clanking/grinding noise every time she starts the X (02 3.0i) in the morning. When I start it I don't hear it. This morning I ask her to show me what she does, she turn on the car and have the AC on full blast...I heard the noise. So I turned it off and start it without the AC on...I don't hear the noise.
She claims it goes away after about 2-3 min driving.

Could this be the water pump going? Fan clutch??
