2005 X5 Navigation Questions
 

Alright so my 2005 X5 that i just purchased did not come with any navigation discs. I need to purchase them however i am confused as to which ones I need. On BMWs navigation update site it says that for an 05 X5 I need the 2 disc DVD based navigation disc set however I dont think this is accurate. I am fairly certain that my SAV uses a CD based navigation system as it says CD on my Nav drive in the trunk. Any help would be appreciated.

Also if anyone on here has the ones i need and wants to burn me a copy and send it over i wouldnt mind haha.

Interesting: Didn't know the 2005 came with a CD for Navigation

I have a 2005 X5. It uses a regional DVD-ROM.
The latest one that I have is also regional #65 90 2 147 669
Purchased from the dealer made by NAVTEQ.

Many folks have tried the burning option but without much success.

On your actual Nav drive in the trunk does it say cd rom or dvd rom on the unit itself?
