"ACCEPT" screen gone by itself..?
 

A little background, a few days ago, we had the coldest night of the year, i took the X5 to a christmas party, after the party, i went to the car, started it and the ACCEPT screen was there, i press the button but nothing happened, i pressed it a few times, but nothing, the ACCEPT screen was there, so i came to a red light, killed the engine and turned it on again, and the NAV went right to the radio station screen. I killed the engine a couple more times on the way home, and at home, and the same, ACCEPT screen gone...!!!!! :wow: :rofl: :D

...However,the following morning, it was back. Back ever since. :mad: :dunno: :confused:

Has this happened to any of you...????

It is nice without having to click the damn ACCEPT bottom.

I think the accept screen comes back after a few minutes of the ignition being off ... when the nav computer resets itself (perhaps after the 90 second time when it shuts down?)

Why do you get an accept screen? Mine has never had an accept screen.

Ah, a US specific thing then. Glad we dont have that.
I do remember seeing something about removing the warning on here a while ago but didn`t think anything of it. I`m sure it involved DOWNgrading the nav software and then re upgrading.

yes, that removes the US setting in the nav profile. so the system defaults to euro specs and doesn't display the nav screen. it also measures in yards...

its actually 15mins with your ignition off will reset and yield the accept to come up again what might have happened is due to cold it might have "frozen" literally.
