help with shipping
i just sold my rims on ebay and im about to go ship them today. does anyone know the weight with tires with no air in them. and the dimensions of the boxs
they are the 20" inch style 168 rims? so i can print the shipping lables from paypal |
Why not wait until you get home, take your bathroom scale, weigh yourself and then hold one while you re-weigh?
Maybe someone else will have the weight...they are heavy! Good luck with 'boxing' them, they are huge... GL,mD |
The Search Tab is usually one's friend, but this thread I found on wheel weight/style 168 included, is a bit confusing, hard info-wise...but, give it a read, as it may help.

Keep in mind chrome plating makes the wheel weigh a bit more, so you'll want to actually weigh it yourself.

For starters, yes, you can print postage via ebay....
A rough guesstimate would be around 45lb for the wheel. Add the total weight boxed, PROPERLY packed....you're coming up closer to 55lbs on average. |
so 150pounds with tires?
|
Just came from ups store. 495.00 with tires. 265.00 with out and 25 a tire to take them off lol. Look like I will give him a refund. Unless he will pay shipping witch I doubt.
|
So, how much did the wheel/tire set weigh?
Might be good, specific info for future reference... Thanks, mD |
86.1 pounds each with all the air I could get out before going. Really heavy.
