Removing interior trims?

The interior trims on my E53 just started to crack recently, so I'm looking to take them off and do a carbon wrap :D

I know the console piece needs a lot of work to remove, but how about the other ones like the door pieces? And guides out there for trim removal? I remember seeing one a long time ago but can't find it anymore

The ones on the doors literally pop right out. If u don't have the snap-on trim removal tool, just carefully use a screwdriver to pry the trim out. It's that simple!

As he says, start from one end, and use a wide blade screw driver so you dont damage the soft surround. The carbon wrap is really easy to use and gives good results. Really tidied up my scratched silver trim

use a little bit of tape to wrap around the screwdriver so u don't scratch anything and put tape on the door where screw driver will touch the surface good luck

Dash pieces are easy too... it's the center console that is a pita!

The center console is a bit tricky, but everything else for the most part pops right off as stated. I'd highly suggest a set of panel removal tools over a flat head and some tape. I gouged my old e39s trim with a flat head to the point where even after wrapping the parts with Di-Noc CF vinyl the marks showed just enough that they bothered me.
