WHITE LED ANGEL EYES BULBS MARKER BMW E53 X5 E83 X3 E87 | eBay

I installed them on my 2005 E53 (well, they look the same but I got them from a local distributor).

They look good (not as bright as the picture, but 100 times better than the original).

You dont need the two cables that come with the "globes".

All you do is access the panel that contains the high beam globes. From there, it is simple disconnect the cables from the existing globes (plastic connector pulls off), turn the old angel eye globe anticlockwise about a 1/4 turn then pull it out. Replace the new one with the reverse procedure.

Being chinese, they will most likely not it 100%. One of mine I had to file the plastic slightly for it to fit in.

Well, the E46 photo that is shown in the auction page has nothing to do with those LEDs, the E46 being on CCFL in that photo. So, it will not look that bright by any means.

The LEDs will mostly turn the rings color from the stock yellowish to white. In terms of brightness, it depends how good the LEDs are, if they are poor, you will barely see them at daylight, compared to the stock ones.

I have those ones in my e53 and they are whiter but not brighter.
I prefer the CCFL's I had in my e39 to what the X has now.

happy to mms a pic if you pm me your mobile, and if you're in Oz.

Yes as everyone is saying you will get a white but not brighter. Less visibility of them during the day as well but looks great at night. If you want anything like the new BMW angel eyes this is not the way to go. I like this choice though and easy to install as well. http://tapatalk.com/mu/89ba8df7-639d-3b96.jpg this Is the 5watt led

so does that mean there is no option to make the originals brighter, for daylight operation than what i have now???

Bigwave, I'm on the same search. The new Bimmers have AMAZING 6000k angel eyes, but nothing I've seen so far, not even the 5watt LED replacement bulbs (look like what you show in that auction, but brighter) come close. I too have the 3watt LED replacement bulbs, and yes they look whiter, but definitely NOT brighter than factory yellowish color.
I wonder if the new BImmers use a ballast with the angel eyes or something to get them that bright.

How about those iBright AE's? I like them, I saw v3 is available, although v2 also looks good I think. Also v2 it's not too think and looks OEM, or it doesn't metter?

What type of bulb does your year take? I recentlly changed mine on my E70, found out it took a H8 lamp. So I replaced it with an H8 HID kit, very bright and white. Maybe something like this may work for you?

Do you have a link for that kit, or something similar?
