First off I would like to thank Hayaku for the oil change how to, it was excellent.
I have to say I don't believe the dealer did my oil oil change last time, my filter looked pretty disgusting. After both the oil/air filter was change man the car sounds nice again.
Pics below for you enjoyment :)

Good pics, and I see the mices like your car too...
Envious of your 6 spd, vs my ol'fashioned 5 spd.

speaking about mice.... i turned on my fans on full blast and noticed that there was a dead leaf blown out near the window... on further inspection... it was a dried up dead little lizard lol! i guess the first owner in PA had lizards crawling around.

OT...mice: my CEO's previous car, a pos '03 Honda CRV had mice up the wazoo. I would trap them a few times a week overnight, and some made a full condo nest in a couple of the dashboard vent tubes. I used a long electrician's fish line/hook to extricate as much of the nest(s) as I could. That, and a couple qts of Febreze Pet Odor Eliminator smell control to keep the ambient scent to a mild roar.

One day, the CEO is driving 3 other women to a golf tournament, in the rain, and turns on the defrost/heater and the smell made them gag and nearly puke...I was in the doghouse.

When we traded that pos CR-V in on her '10 Hyundai Tuck a year and a half ago, the dlr was salivating over the CR-V, (he had a buyer), and gave us $2Gs over current KBB, et al. I was sweating bullets, as I had pumped another qt of the Febreze crap down the vents before we did the deal, but all he cared about was how cold the A/C blew, which the cold air and Febreze mitigated the near gag & vomit 'standard' smell.

Honda 'quality', as the mice walked right in that car...None have ever gotten into the ol'Vette or older X, or her new Tuck. We do have them here on at the Mtn Joint, well...like mice. Hijack over, good pic thead by Technomage!

Those instructions by Hayaku are a classic write up here. They were so good that some scumbag stole them and was selling them on eBay. Seriously! I think it was $0.99 or $4.99 for the seller to email the instructions.

Your filters do look rather bad. How many miles since last oil change?
