Good to hear MD. Our X is 10 this year also but only had 64K on the old ticker. It will have to serve for a few more unless some mad rich dude presses a considerable amount of folding green paper in my hand because he just cannot live without it.
If your backwater is anything like our backwater you should consider the Xenon upgrade. It was the first mod I did back in the old days and on the unlit gravel roads we live off of in SW MO they are a big asset.
I am just about to retro the T4R we bought earlier this year before the winter sets in.

10 years later and she still looks good!

Looks great for 10 years, MD! Congratulations, and keep on enjoying it. They are great vehicles.

Happy Decade, mD! She's still a beauty just like V :)

truck looks great! how do you keep your B- and C-pillar trim so clean & shiny? I have an '01 and the pillar & window trim looks like hell. I wonder if they changed from the matte (read: shitty) trim to the less fade-prone trim during the 2001 model year. my production date was January of '01. can I ask what yours is?

Thank you again, for the props and kind words!
-Zulu: I don't think I've driven 10 miles at night, in the past year, here on the Mtn.
-indianapolis: my pillars are gloss black, a plastic material, and all I've done with them is lay on a thin layer of Zaino a couple times per year, since new. Zaino on the car, too. Not high tech or 'euro', but my fave 'wax' for the past ~15 years, on all the stable.

-Haigha/P: V says, "thank you, Sir!" Like the car, she isn't a recent model anymore either, but she's the best for me, on the planet.
BR, mD

QwkAg, yes that is my guesstimate. The only 'night driving' while here on the Mtn, in 'summer', is from the golf club after a dinner function, or coming from couples pokah or bridge: both are very local drives around a couple of our private mtn roads. Maybe 5-8 mins one way, in the dark, if it's late.

I think I drove 3 or 4 times at night in FL, during last winter. So, maybe I drove '2 hours' in dark, in the past year. I have lost a lot of what little night vision I had, so I avoid night driving, and try to drive 'local'/roads I know, and only if I have to. That's my story...an owl I am not.
