Changed Door Handle Carrier, but still isnt right
 

So as many of you know, i did a door handle carrier change on my X5 a week ago.

anyway, the door opens just fine, but it seems as if it is not as smooth and it is hard to open. It felt this exact same way before my old door handle carrier went out. I'm not sure if something stretched (such as a cable) which is making it harder to open. Any ideas?

just an FYI. opened it back up and put some WD40 on it. works perfectly now
