My car just died!!
 

So was crusin the streets. Engine light came on. 15 min later. Battery light. Then no power steering. The started to over heat. Pulled over turned car off. Now wont turn on at all. Checked the oil very dry but I changed oil withen past three or four months. So going to put oil in and try and give it a jump

sounds like the belt which drives the water pump , alternator and power steering pump has broken

Yea your exactly right I can see it broke inside. So what now. I guess I have too tow it in the morning to a shop its a friends house parked outside. Actually left to give him a ride lol. So how much you think this going to cost me to fix. The Fan is not broke. Just the belt.

the belt is $ 51.62 . quick to replace if it has not caused other damage whist flailing around .

make one from a quick clamp
search this forum for the diy water pump replacement or belt replacement cos someone here made the tool and shows all the info you need
