bmw cas4 programmer

hi, do you use this bmw cas4 programmer? If you have used it, can you tell me what about it? And how to change mileage using this tool?:dunno::dunno::dunno:

no one can help?

If you did a quick search, you would find that in 79,985 threads, involving 825,156 posts, from 64,386 members, the phrase "cas4" shows up exactly zero times. You can find references to cas3, which was an earlier version of the programming language used on the X5. But this isn't a typical service tool, posters here would use a GT1 for that.

So, this is not a tool that anyone here would ever use.

And at least some of us are wondering why you want to reset your odometer.

Yeah inquiring minds want to know.....:dunno:

hi, thanks for your reply, I heard that reset the mileage can save money, is it really? I am sad that no one use this tool before...:dunno::dunno:

this tool will not save you money. if you owned a junk yard with many good instrument clusters, lamp modules, EWS 4.3 modules, you could make some good return on these parts, as these modules are married to the cars. but no it will not save you money.

BTW, does this tool can deal with other problem?

CAS4 is an update version of CAS3, it's also a mileage correction. It's true that few people have used it. But I think you can reference the CAS3 usage.

The only way "to save money" with a mileage reset, is selling a car with a fake lower mileage. So technically, yeah, you "heard" right :)
