2004 X5 4.4 purchase opinion
I have researched prices and issues of the car and now wanted to get everyone’s opinion on this purchase. I will not be driving the car much. I live in downtown Chicago and will only be using for short trips and drive to the burbs about 30 min away. I’m not concerned about fuel economy.
The car is a 2004 x5 4.4i fully loaded it has 90k on it and the selling price was 13900 we agreed on $12,000. What does everyone think? |
Sounds like you stole it to me. Have fun.
So what your saying is go for it huh?
Yes; go for it! :D
enjoy the soon to be SAV.....Congrats
No opin on that price...a couple of things to consider:
-maintaining battery charge on seldom driven Xs may be a problem. I rec'd a Battery Tender or similar, when parked for extended periods. -There are pages of threads on the CCV/oil separator issue, esp in Xs driven short trip/never fully warmed up situs, exacerbated by cold weather. Do some reading via the Search Tab, and be wary...Xs are great, but these are not your father's Chevy. GL, mD |
Good purchase. DO IT! lol
Drive it like you stole it...cuz you did!
I will be driving the car for more then 30 min at least twice a week
wow what a deal.
this makes me feel pretty shitty about my residual value! damn! are you sure the car isnt salvage title or been in an accident? any issues? have you had it inspected by a BMW dealer? |
